Project overview
Rich Coast Diving first brought us on to create a promotional video for their Divemaster internship program. This is their main marketing tool to attract divemasters since 2023.
The collaboration expanded as we completed our own training with them, allowing us to capture the experience from the inside.
Goal
Showcase the Divemaster program in a way that:
- felt authentic to the diving community
- reflected the training environment from a participant’s perspective
- attracted future students through storytelling rather than advertising
Approach & Creative Vision
Our creative approach focused on:
- underwater filming that highlighted marine life and the environment
- documenting the learning journey from behind the scenes
- incorporating real interactions, not staged scenarios
- aligning content with Rich Coast Diving’s brand identity and tone

Results
- Use of promotional assets across social media and the website to this day
- Increased interest in the Divemaster program with ongoing results
- Expanded usage of visuals beyond the original deliverables

Testimonial
We hired Derek & Carine as videographers to create a promotional video showcasing our Divemaster program. The goal of which was to increase the visibility and ultimately attract new candidates to our program.
After the successful creation and launch of this video (that we still use to promote our program to this day), Derek and Carine completed the Divemaster program within 30 days, during which time they also became certified PADI underwater photographers.
Their professionalism with our customers was always on display. They were a great part of our team.
During their Divemaster program, they were also tasked with content creation for the shop. Despite the challenge to create contents while doing their training, they successfully created daily stories and reels that they posted on our account. They took the concepts we discussed together, and were able to run with them to create engaging content during their time with us.
Overall we were very satisfied with the work that they did both as Divemasters and content creators. They were very independent and allowed us to concentrate on other aspects of the business while knowing that our social media presence was taken care of.
I would personally hire them again as content creators and divemasters, as they were extremely helpful and supportive of our business.
