All about Ölch Cabin’s community – The Chic Shacks

Located in the coveted Chic Shacks community in La Conception, Ölch Cabin is a beautiful all-inclusive rental chalet. The Chic Shacks is a grouping of different chalets for rent and properties.

What makes the Chic Shacks unique is that the properties are nestled in the heart of nature, while still offering the ultimate in style, comfort and beauty. There are about 40 properties located in the community, but you would never know because of the calm and serenity that reigns in the area. You truly feel alone in the world, whether you’re hanging out inside, on the large patio that surrounds Ölch, the viewing platform or the outdoor fire pit. It’s really the best of all worlds!

Let’s dive into the little details that make Ölch so unique. But especially, why you choose this chalet to rent in Tremblant. We promise that you won’t regret it!

Ölch Cabin was created and is hosted by Nadia and Simon, a couple from Gatineau, Quebec. They did not spare any details to make the space cozy and beautiful. It includes all the amenities you can ever need.

When walking into Ölch, you’ll surely notice the large windows that give you the feeling of being comfortably engulfed by nature. The warm sun coming in makes this place so cozy, no matter what time of day it is.

Beautifully decorated, the leather couch invites you to grab your favorite book, a cup of coffee (made using their machine and pods) and spend some downtime. You can also sit on their patio, including outdoor couches as well as a nifty hanging chair. Too cold to be outside, no worries, you can light up the fire pit and read there. Or better yet, drop the book, and take a dip in their brand new hot tub while you admire the view. Your options are endless!

The kitchen and dining room are also beautifully decorated, and flow together so nicely. Perfect for spending time hosting, or just being around family. We loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and very functional. Some chalets skimp out on these amenities, but not Ölch. You have enough pots, pans, cutlery and dishes to host a big party. They even provide pantry staples, so you don’t need to worry about forgetting your olive oil at home! These little touches make the experience so much easier and worry-free.

The rooms are cozy and decorated with the same impeccable taste you find present all throughout this amazing chalet for rent in Tremblant. Two queen beds and one double spread in 3 bedrooms, storage, and side tables make each one perfect.

As for the bathroom, it includes a large shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. So you don’t need to worry about forgetting those, or about having your bottles leak! You have more towels than you need. And best of all, there is a washer-dryer in the bathroom. If you’re there for a longer stay, you can still pack light.

Things to do in Tremblant and around Ölch Cabin

If ever you decide to leave this cozy rental cabin in Tremblant (but seriously, why would you?), know that there is a ton to do around. So there’s no chance of you getting bored.

First, you should know that Ölch provides a kayak, canoe and a paddleboard that you can use on the Rivière Rouge, a private lake in the area. If you want to venture out a bit more, you can go for a hike at the Mont-Tremblant National Park. If the national park doesn’t interest you, you also have access to some other hikes in the area, like the Montagne d’Argent. For avid bikers, there’s the Petit train du Nord, a 234-km trail that stretches across a big part of the Laurentians.

In the area, you can also find a few beaches to enjoy in the summer months. In the winter, you’re right by one of the most popular ski resorts in Quebec – Mont-Tremblant. There’s also a beautiful resort town by the ski resort. This cute area is full of restaurants, bars, shops and more. It’s perfect to explore during the day or the night.

Just make sure you book a few months ahead of your desired stay. While local travel is still big, and the US border just reopened, beautiful chalets like Ölch get booked up very quickly.
